The Session

You do not need perfectly behaved kids or a flawless session for beautiful photographs. The laughter, movement, snuggles, chaos, and in-between moments are often the very things that make the images most meaningful.
Come As You Are

Your images will be delivered in a private online gallery within 2 to 3 weeks of your session. From there, you’ll be able to download your images, share them with family, and order prints so this season lives beyond a screen.

We always recommend choosing pieces that feel like an elevated version of your everyday style, with soft movement, flattering textures, and colors that work beautifully together.
What to Wear
EASY, TIMELESS, AND TRUE TO YOUR FAMILY
A few simple guidelines we love:
Choose a color palette that feels soft and cohesive rather than perfectly matching. Neutrals, earth tones, soft blues, creams, muted greens, and warm tones tend to photograph beautifully.
Aim for outfits that feel comfortable and easy to move in, especially for little ones. If you feel good in what you’re wearing, it always shows in the images.
Textures photograph beautifully and add depth without feeling busy. Think linen, knits, cotton, soft layers, and flowy fabrics.
Try to avoid loud logos, neon colors, and overly busy patterns, as they can pull attention away from faces and connection.

That is completely okay and very normal. Family sessions do not require perfect behavior to create beautiful images. We keep the experience relaxed, patient, and flexible so there’s room for movement, personality, and real moments to unfold naturally.

What if my kids don’t cooperate?

Your images will arrive in a private online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints with ease. The number of photos depends on the package you choose and is listed with each collection. Delivery time is about 3 weeks

Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll send over everything you need to officially reserve your session. Your date is secured once the signed agreement and retainer are received.

We’re big believers that images aren’t meant to solely exist in a digital space. One day, most likely, Instagram will be gone, your phone will be replaced and images that you can physically hold in your hand will be the best way to remember those precious moments we captured.
Think about this fact: fifteen years ago, if we had delivered you digital images, they would have been on a floppy disk. With the fast updates to technology, you would have no way to access those images today. Even the online galleries we deliver will eventually fade away.
One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors. These aren’t the same albums your parents' wedding photos came in. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on a coffee table.

DUPLICATE PARENT ALBUMS
Family albums are available a la carte or as part of your family collection.
After we deliver your gallery, we'll work with you to order prints and design an album that will become an heirloom for your family.
Albums must be prepaid before design begins and typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete (including revisions).
With the exception of printing errors, all albums are non-returnable. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after your session. The holiday deadline for beginning an order is November 1st.
